Made from chardonnay fruit sourced at the Mount Compass Vineyard, the vines grow on a north facing vineyard with very sandy soils over sandstone bedrock.  Early picking when the ripeness and the acidity worked for an early release wine and direct pressed whole bunches into stainless steel fermentation. The wine is light, fresh, crisp and clean with flavours of melon, honey dew and lemon rind.
