Established in 1963 by Doctor Max Lake (often considered the man responsible for the modern wine boom), Lake's Folly has garnered a cult following for it's Cabernet blend and Chardonnay. 

The Cabernets is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Shiraz made from low-yielding, estate-grown, hand-picked fruit. With a huge cellaring potential of 20+ years (partly due to fastidious winemaking and top quality oak as well as stelvin closure) this is one of the great Australian Bordeaux-style blends.
