First slope of Beaune, next to Clos des Mouches. Top of the slope planted with Chardonnay. Vines aged 37 years. Vertical press so pressing is very slow. Aged on only fine lees. 10% new oak. Taut and sleek this shows notes of honey, citrus zest, toasted nuts. Medium bodied with power.
