Domaine Cornu is located in the village of Magny Les Villers which is nestled up behind the Hill of Corton and right in the heart of the Cote d Or. Alex Cornu has been the winemaker since 2008 & he took over from his father Claude who previously  worked for many years with Aubert de Villaine at DRC. The bunches of grapes are pressed directly after fermentation starts in tank, after one week the wine is put into oak via gravity. Fermentation is then finished in oaks. 10-15% new wood and oaks barrels of 2-3-4 years old for the rest. Aged in 228lt barriques for 12 to 14 months.
