Ciro Picariello’s tiny 7 hectare estate lies at the heart of Campania’s sub-region of Avellino among the volcanic soils of the Irpinian hills. Sourced from south facing vineyards around the town of Guardia Sanframondi in the province of Benevento at 380m elevation. This is a delicious Falanghina with Ciro's signature of taut zesty fruit, bright Granny Smith apple crunch and a lovely wash of green herb freshness throughout. For all the crispness and zest there's a little more weight here than with the Fiano, with a mellow, tropical juiciness giving a breadth and length on the finish.
