In the 2011 vintage Antoine took over the 4.2 hectares of family vineyards that had been in long-term lease since his grandfather’s retirement in 1992. All wines see 35-50% whole cluster and are vinified without sulfur. The Essards is dark fruited with mineral undertones and definitely drinks above the humble Village level.
