Crafted primarily from 80% Mencía grapes, it also incorporates 18% other red varieties such as Albarello (Brancellao) and Garnacha Tintorera (Merenzao), along with a unique addition of 2% white grapes. The vineyards, a blend of older and younger plots, thrive on sandy soils intermixed with slate.

With a modest alcohol content of only 12.5%, this cooler vintage contributes to its youthful, yet approachable nature. The palate shows weightlessness, yet retains vibrant energy, thanks to its fine tannins and focused, fresh flavors similar to biting into a cluster of top quality grapes.
