The fruit for the Lucky Cat Pinot Gris is sourced from a single block of 20-year-old vines in a vineyard on Snow Road, King Valley. It's a cool-climate site at 205m altitude with red loam soil. The fruit was harvested and sorted late at night before being pressed. The fruit was fermented in tank at cool temperatures and there was no malo. A short maturation on light lees with weekly stirring followed, and the wine was bottled in June
