Planted in the early 80s, the site on Little River sits perched at over 400 metres asl
on the Northern volcanic slopes of the Cathedral Range. The high altitude, cool site and lean volcanic soils confer both concentration and freshness at low sugar levels resulting in a wine with pale green edges, this Chardonnay offers glass filling aromas of crushed rock, struck match, lime and grapefruit zest, jasmine and spice. Flavours carry through to a dense and powerful palate with savoury complexity and a fine detailed acid line.
