Biodynamic treatments in his tiny plots, porcelain fermentation vessels he calls "toilets", and a vineyard once home to 200 different varietals, Fabio Gea is somewhat of an outlier in Barbaresco but at the end of the day he makes amazing wines of massive quality with miniscule quantity. This Barbera is one of the more classically styled cuvees.
