From a 1ha parcel of 55 year old vines grown on manganese-rich pink granite. Cold carbonic maceration for 21 days, then 50% aged in old barrels and 50% in concrete tank for 10 months.  Quite a deep and earthy nose. Warm soil and roses dominate over fruit. Notes of spice on the back palate, and the excellent acidity that keeps in in balance. Blueberries, blackberries and dark cherries are the fruit. Supple, sturdy and serious.
