Roughly 2/3 Chardonnay and 1/3 Savagnin, from the Petit Courulet lieu-dit. The soils here are gravel on marl, and the site sits at 350M above sea level, with south-east exposure. The vines are aged between 20-60 years old. The grapes are pressed and the wines are aged in a mix of 500L barrels and 2000L foudre for 18 months.
Clear, fresh nose with apple, white peach, nectarine, raw macadamia and salt. The palate is super bright and feels lightweight, but has mild texture and good mid palate depth. Amazing clarity and almost luminous in the mouth. Fresh, with yellow orchard fruits, sweet lemon and a spine of salinity
