An estate that comprises just 4 rows of heritage and almost extinct varietals may sound ridiculous but that's exactly what Danilo Marcucci's Ceppaiolo project is. The Rosso Field blend is from 80 year old vines - Vernaccia, Sangiovese, Aleatico & Nebbiolo of Gubbio. Spontaneous fermentation with 10 days skin contact. Aged in cement. No added sulfur and no filtering or fining. Zero Sulphur.
