Forestieri or "strangers" in the local dialect is the relatively new project of Dario Marinari and Argentinian born Ezequiel Allassia. Piecing together roughly 4 hectares of very old vines planted to local varietals in Alta Maremma, they are working to restore some of these abandoned or neglected vines to their former glory. With a focus on biodynamics, leaning into the world of minimal interventionist winemaking, they are honouring the traditions of old world Italian winemaking.
